AGE Serum for Loose Skin
What You Need to Know Before You Apply
What is the purpose of this trial?
This trial tests the safety and effectiveness of a new treatment, AGE Serum, for improving skin appearance in post-menopausal women taking GLP-1 agonist medication, such as Ozempic or Wegovy. The researchers aim to determine if the serum can reduce signs of aging, like fine lines and loose skin. The trial seeks women already using GLP-1 medication, with or without hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Participants should have mild to moderate signs of aging and be willing to have their skin evaluated through photos and other assessments. As an unphased trial, this study offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research on skin health.
Do I have to stop taking my current medications for the trial?
You must continue taking your current GLP-1 agonist medication, like Ozempic, Rybelsus, or Wegovy, at a stable dose. However, you need to stop using any skincare products two weeks before the study and during the study.
Is there any evidence suggesting that AGE Serum is likely to be safe for humans?
Research has shown that AGE Serum is generally safe to use. In one study, participants using AGE Serum reported no serious side effects, indicating compatibility with various skin types. Another study found the serum safe even for individuals with noticeable age-related skin changes. Overall, these findings suggest that AGE Serum is a safe option for enhancing skin appearance.12345
Why are researchers excited about this trial?
AGE Serum is unique because it combines the effects of GLP1 receptor agonists with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to target loose skin. While most treatments for loose skin, like topical creams or surgical procedures, focus on external application or invasive measures, AGE Serum aims to work from within by addressing underlying hormonal and metabolic factors. Researchers are excited because this approach could offer a non-invasive yet effective solution, potentially improving skin elasticity and appearance more holistically than current methods.
What evidence suggests that AGE Serum might be an effective treatment for loose skin?
Research has shown that AGE Serum can make skin firmer and more elastic. One study revealed that participants noticed significant improvements in fine lines, wrinkles, and skin firmness within eight weeks. Another study found enhancements in neck skin quality, particularly in elasticity and firmness. Additionally, a clinical study reported increases in skin elasticity by 12.5% and firmness by 20.7%. In this trial, participants in both Group A and Group B will receive AGE Serum to evaluate its effectiveness in tightening and improving the appearance of loose skin.12678
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
This trial is for post-menopausal women aged 45-65 who are taking a stable dose of GLP-1 agonist medication (like Ozempic, Rybelsus, or Wegovy) and have mild to moderate facial aging. Participants must be in good health and willing to complete the study. Women with certain skin conditions, recent cosmetic procedures, allergies to ingredients used, or active infections cannot join.Inclusion Criteria
