What You Need to Know Before You Apply
What is the purpose of this trial?
The goal of this clinical trial pilot is to determine the feasibility of an intervention to enhance weight management in patients who have stopped taking anti-obesity/weight management medications in primary care. The main questions it aims to answer are:
* Can patients be recruited into the study efficiently?
* Is the program acceptable to patients?
* Can the study be conducted efficiently?
The new program will be compared to usual care.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
This trial is for adults (18+) with obesity who were prescribed certain weight loss medications by a primary care provider at Rush University and have recently stopped taking them. Participants must have a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27+ with related health issues, including those identifying as Asian.Inclusion Criteria
Timeline for a Trial Participant
Screening
Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial
Treatment
Participants in the PRISM Program complete online visits using study-provided scales, video visits with study staff monthly, and online check-ins weekly
Follow-up
Participants are monitored for weight change and adherence to the intervention

Trial Overview
The study is testing the PRISM program—a new support strategy to help people manage their weight after stopping anti-obesity medication—compared to usual care in primary care settings. Participants are randomly assigned to either group.

This is a novel, remotely delivered, self-tailored intervention for post-anti-obesity medication discontinuation weight management.
Participants will continue to receive their regular, usual primary care.
