What You Need to Know Before You Apply
What is the purpose of this trial?
We use one or at most two simple yoga poses to reverse juvenile idiopathic lumbar and thoracolumbar scoliosis in 8 - 12 year-olds. It involves daily practice of 5 - 7 minutes. Involvement is 4-8 months with two or three low-dose. before and after (EOS) X-rays. Participation can be in person or done on line.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
This trial is for children aged 8 to 12 who have been diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic scoliosis affecting the lower or mid-lower spine. Participants should be able to do simple yoga poses daily and attend a few X-ray checkups.Inclusion Criteria

- Therapeutic yoga pose
Trial Overview
The study compares the effects of specific therapeutic yoga poses versus sham (placebo) yoga poses on scoliosis in kids. Daily practice lasts about 5-7 minutes over several months, with progress checked by X-rays before and after.

Treatment groups
Experimental Treatment
Placebo Group
Participants will perform the assigned therapeutic yoga pose(s) three times daily for 4 months. Study participation for this arm will end after completion of the 4-month intervention period
Sham Comparator : Sham Participants will perform one or two sham (non-active) yoga poses three times daily for 4 months. After completing the 4-month sham period, participants will cross over to the active intervention and perform the assigned therapeutic yoga pose(s) three times daily for an additional 4 months.
