What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

A study to evaluate the effect of over- the- counter (OTC) lubricating eye drops on tolerability, symptoms and visual outcomes in patients with dry eye disease (DED)

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for people diagnosed with dry eye disease who want to try over-the-counter lubricating eye drops. Participants should not have other major eye problems or conditions that could interfere with the study.

Inclusion Criteria

I am 18 years old or older.
Able to provide written voluntary informed consent
Able and willing to adhere to the protocol instructions, including participation in all study visits

Exclusion Criteria

Have a serious or uncontrolled systemic disease (eg, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, hypertension, malignancy) that, in the opinion of the Investigator, will interfere with the study or interpretation of study results
Have worn contact lenses within 3 days prior to Screening/Baseline (Visit 1) or planned wear during the study
I have had my tear ducts blocked in the last 30 days.

What Are the Treatments Tested in This Trial?

Trial Overview

The study tests different preservative-free OTC lubricating eye drops containing ingredients like polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, glycerin, and polysorbate 80 to see how well they work and how comfortable they are for people with dry eyes.
